The third book of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" leaves you wanting more in this love triangle saga. As always Bella is in danger, but this time she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. She knows her decision may start up a struggle between vampire and werewolf. Graduation is around the corner and the Cullen's agreed to make her a vampire. A choice between life and death. An aging life with her family and Jacob or a forever life in death with Edward without her family and Jacob. Is her love worth a breaking the treaty between the vampires and the werewolf?

OK - these are wildly popular with my girls. I've tried to connect a few boys but have been mostly unsuccessful.
I think the teen appeal is the connection that here's this gorgeous guy who fawns all over our heroine, gives her all the attention she could ever want but all the presures of sex taken out. A perfect early teen relationship. Meyer really hones in on that aspect and she builds a very strong emotional relationshop between her main characters.
I've had a few parents pick these up since their kids were so into them. They seem to have enjoyed them just as much. Perhaps Edward isn't just a preteen's fantasy! HA!
